CCCC: Economics Offerings

The options for completion below include the minimum number of credit hours a student can expect to receive coupled with the most stringent requirement for universal acceptance. Some institutions may award more credit hours or accept lower AP or IB scores. Students should consult their institution of choice for specific requirements.

Students will receive at least three (3) degree credits for Economics from the participating institutions by completing one of the following options below:
  1. Economics International Baccalaureate Exam with a score of 6 or higher
  2. Microeconomics or Macroeconomics Advanced Placement Exam with a score of 5 or higher
  3. Dual Enrollment Principles of Economics I and/or II (VCCS course numbers 201 and 202) with a grade of C or higher
